Terms and Conditions:
All wedding bookings require a 50% non-refundable booking fee via direct debit to secure the wedding day. Remaining amount is due no later than 14 days before the wedding day. Refunds are not given for any reason within this time, whether that is one or all persons cancelling their services for the day.
All other bookings:
All other bookings requires a $50 non-refundable booking fee per person to secure the booking and remaining amount may be paid on the day by cash, via direct debit or eftpos. Please note eftpos transactions incur a $2 per service transaction fee. Any cancellations within 14 days of the booking still require full payment of the original booking amount.
A copy of the transfer receipt must be provided to secure the booking. Please email the copy to email@example.com
If another deposit is received before yours for the same time, priority goes to the first deposit received.
The booking fee is deducted off the total price.
A booking will not be secure until the booking fee has been paid and receipt provided.
A booking fee may be transferred to another date for 1 time only and if notice is given more than 14 days from the original booking date. Any further transfers require a new booking fee.
If I am the one who is unable to do the booking due to unforeseen circumstances the booking fee will be refunded in full as soon as possible and an attempt to find a replacement artist will be made.
Makeup and hair will take anywhere from 45min - 2 hours each, depending on the look required and if there have been any trials. Please note that timing is a guide only. Although all due care and preparation is taken, Dewy Beauty cannot guarantee that you will be finished at a set time. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure there is enough time provided between the services to be performed and needing to leave. If an additional person would like to have their hair or makeup done on the day, this will only be possible if time allows and full payment must be made on the day.
All makeup applications are 1 look only, with minor adjustments if needed. If you wish for any part of your makeup to be completely redone, an additional $50 fee applies. Please note that Neeka is in the beginner stages of hair styling and is only able to offer basic hair styling services, as an add-on service, at this stage.
Dewy Beauty cannot be held responsible for any reactions to the skin or face that may occur after a makeup application, or damage caused to the hair. No refunds are given after the service has been performed for any reason.
Photos taken on the day may be used on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Dewy Beauty's website. Please state if you do not wish for this to happen.
Business Hours, Travel and Parking:
Charges apply to start times outside of normal business hours which are before 8am and after 5pm. $50 per hour outside of these times. A minimum $300 service fee is required for travel more than 40km from Runcorn home studio and Saturday mobile bookings. For distances more than 100km from Runcorn home studio with a start time prior to 9am, accommodation is required to be covered for the night before.
All locations requiring payment for parking, full cost of parking will be charged to the client. This includes parking at any hotel or venue requiring payment for parking at their vicinity. Parking must be paid for in full, prior to the date of the occasion.
Mobile Services/On Location:
If for any reason I feel the preparation area is unsafe or unclean for me to perform my duties, I have the right to refuse my services and to leave the premises immediately and any monies paid will not be refunded. If I feel that the client is being unreasonable regarding the satisfaction with the makeup/hair, and/or application is taking longer than 2 hours, I have the right to refuse my services and to leave the premises immediately and any monies paid will not be refunded.
Due to health and safety regulations, no other person is to touch any product or equipment belonging to Dewy Beauty without consent. Please take care if children or pets are present to not be near the preparation area, there may be cords, cables, hot tools, flammable liquids etc. Dewy Beauty cannot be held responsible to any accidents or incidents that occur to children or pets. If there are dogs at the premises, please have them secured outside or in another room before I arrive. If there are young children at the premises, they must be supervised by another adult in a separate area to the preparation area for the entire duration of the hair and/or makeup application process. It is important to reduce the amount of distractions to ensure we run to time.
Any loss or damage to products or equipment caused by the client, or any member including children and pets present in the vicinity, whether real, incidental or consequential; the cost of the replacement of these items will charged to the client. An invoice will be sent to the client immediately following the incident to which the client has 21 days to pay the invoice.
Home studio address is given after the deposit has been paid for security reasons. All home studio bookings have a maximum capacity of 2 people at any one time. Strictly no children under the age of 10 are permitted at the premises. Strictly no smoking is permitted inside or outside the studio at any time. Free street parking is available. Please enter through the front gate. Please note, there are cats living within the home, if you are allergic please notify Dewy Beauty prior to your arrival so they can be separated from the preparation area.
All 1:1 lesson bookings requires a $50 non-refundable booking fee to secure the booking and remaining amount may be paid on the day by cash, via direct debit or eftpos. Please note eftpos transactions incur a $2 per service transaction fee. Personalised payments plans can be arranged. All 1:1 lesson are 1 look only. Neeka will perform the look on one side of the face and you will follow on the other side step by step.
All photoshoots will be held at Dewy Beauty's home studio in Runcorn. A $100 deposit is required to secure the booking, the remaining amount to be paid within 3 days of the photoshoot. Photoshoots are a 3 hours session including natural makeup, simple hair and 5 edit hi-res online images. Up to 2 outfit changes are allowed per session. Additional images can be purchased for $10 per image. Extra time, outfit and hair/makeup changes may be made for an additional fee. Photos will be uploaded via dropbox and a link will be sent to the client. Images will be delivered within 2 weeks from the date of the photoshoot unless otherwise specified.
Please phone me on 0450 258 658 if you need to cancel the booking within 48 hours of the booked day. Text messages and emails are not a reliable form of contact for cancellations at short notice. Booking fees are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled at any time. If 1 or more persons decide they no longer would like their service within 14 days of the booking, full payment for that person must still be made. I will send out a confirmation email or text prior to all bookings, if I have not received a reply within 24 hours, the booking will be considered a cancellation. If no one is at the vicinity within 30 minutes of the agreed upon time, the booking will be considered a cancellation.
If 1 or more persons decide they no longer would like their service within 14 days of the booking, full payment for that person must still be made. No refunds are given for change of mind. The time has been booked out and allocated for that person, which results in loss of business for Dewy Beauty if they wish to cancel. It is recommended that you ask another person to take their place. There are no fees for change of names/persons.
By making a booking and paying the booking fee with Dewy Beauty you are agreeing to all of the above terms and conditions.
